Free Online Teacher Resources and Free Homeschool CurriculumPrintNPractice has thousands of K-6 homeschool worksheets! ✨Free Printable Homeschool Worksheets
After homeschooling for many years and as our first four children began to graduate from high school, we needed help with our younger children.
Wouldn’t it be helpful to have professional worksheets that are easy for our children to practice their equations and spelling words?
This is why we started this website.
Good for us, good for you.
Your schedule is busy, so we make sure our printable worksheets offer plenty of copy work with low teacher/parent involvement. This was a giant help to us, and can be the same for you.
All of our worksheets are easy homeschool worksheets.
Choose the worksheets that you need. You print them. Kids practice. Repeat.
How long?
Repeat till your children have learned the facts. If they practice quickly and often, the time needed for learning is reduced.
Practice makes real simple homeschool lesson plans K-5.
We offer homeschool worksheets to practice most of the material taught in the early grades.
As a matter of fact, if you use our free printable worksheets (or buy them in bundles) at PrintNPractice.com, you may teach your children more than if you spend several years schlogging through complete homeschool curriculum packages.
These are perfect for creating your own homeschool curriculum: Add good reading books and your favorite history and science and poof! You’re set.
For books? First choose only good books.
My favorite lesson plan is to divide the number of pages in the book by the number of days available to find the number of pages per day. The lesson plan then becomes ’turn the page’.
See these printable homeschool worksheets and curriculum ideas:School At Home. Distance Learning.
Are you having to do school at home? Distance learning?
Skip that, if you can, and do honest homeschooling.
When times are confusing, fall back on teaching your children what they need to know. Actual facts and actual information.
All our printable worksheets work with any real homeschool program and can fill in the blanks for you and your kids doing school at home:
*Are you trying to keep little ones happy at the same time older children need to navigate new school assignments?
*Are you trying to help your children truly learn the basics behind their lessons in spite of what’s sent home?
*Do you wish you had a tutor to help them memorize their facts or learn good penmanship?
Check out our free printable worksheets that are also digitally capable.
This means that, if you do not have a printer or you have run out of ink or paper, you can still use our worksheets in a computer.

Best homeschool advice?
First, don’t “do” school at home. Do not try to bring school home. Whether you’re new to homeschooling, practicing a self quarentine, or feeling the isolation, yes, kids can learn at home; yet the schedule is going to be different.
It can be hard to bring school into the home. It’s not the same as school where all the children are the same ages.
You have several ages at home. Schools do not teach several ages at a time.
Little ones need more hands on help. Older children need quiet time and the computer. There are no assistants paid to help with the little things.
You and your family will have to cover for all these things.
Enjoy these ideas:
*Get a homeschool planner or make your own. It’s really YOUR schedule that will be the backbone of whatever the children can do.
*Spiff up a room to make space for a home office.
*Well, the computer, too. Unless you have more than one computer or tablet, you may have to designate time for each child to finish his work. Put this on the planner.
*If you are following a teacher or tutor’s curriculum, you’ll have all you can do to help your children get those assignments completed and returned to the teacher or school.
*Have everyone help with chores the best that they can. You can teach them how to sort the laundry or how to clean this and that. Once they’ve learned, they’ll have new skills and you’ll have new helpers.
*Learn or practice music. Find drawing ideas and learn to draw or paint pictures
*Make mini-goals: finish your math and you can color.
*Check your honey-do lists to see if there are jobs around the house that you and the children can do if there is extra time. God bless real spring cleaning!
*Put together a family photo album, at least digitally so the file is ready when you are. See if Walgreens is having a sale on their photo albums and photo books.
*Have a time when you gather in a different room. Make an adventure in the east room, snuggle up and read in another room, have lunch on the porch or deck.
*Write letters to family and friends or make cards: Easter, Fourth of July, Christmas, birthdays.
*Find childrens crafts and paper crafts for kids. Plan ahead to see if you have enough supplies on hand.
*Learn to bake bread and make a care package.
*Make and enjoy family meals together.
*Skype or HangOut for a video chat with Grandma and Grandpa or family and friends.
*Get out some family games. Find all the Lego sets or all the Knex sets. Make space and time to finish the big projects.
*God bless sidewalk chalk! Everyone in the family can choose a square in the sidewalk or back patio. Make a frame and color away!
*Cook lunch or dinner on the grill on the back yard patio.
*Take lunch out to the back yard for a picnic.Interactive Practice PrintablesPractice Worksheets

If you’re using a binder for your notebooks, you can expand your pages or re-do them. Our free worksheets make great notebooking pages and give your students the basics whether you’re using a home school curriculum or not.

History notebooks are the most fun for our family. Add a printable timeline and some maps for geography and your children can actually write and depict their own version of history (your own version of history based on reality at this point in their education).
Studying the Bible, learning the language arts - especially composition, and science are fun to make great notebooks. Truly, the Bible can start your history and then history can be the backbone of your curriculum.
Looking back through our years I wish that I’d treated our children’s school work like building a scrap book - a bit of a narrated photo albums interspersed with their best homeschool worksheets.
